Success Stories

There has been a shortness of nurses within the Netherlands for a while now, especially theatre nurses. We have tried to solve this problem by an extra effort to educate more scrub-nurses ourselves. But the demand is even bigger than the amount we can educate. In 2009, we contacted ETI International to recruit some operating theatre nurses. We travelled to India to meet the candidates. All of them were very nervous and during the time they had to wait somebody from ETI stayed with them for personal support and to keep them a little bit relaxed.
After meeting the candidates we found them to be well educated and well motivated people, with a real passion to work in Europe. We also visited a hospital whilst in India and we were allowed to go into the operation department so we got a passable idea of the way people are working in the Indian hospitals… the way for working was similar to ours. Afterwards 14 contracts were signed!
After two months were went to meet our new employees at the airport and this was emotional for us as we were aware of the great step these people made.
On behalf of ETI International we have no shortness of nurses in our hospital anymore. We were the first hospital in the Netherlands to work with ETI and for us it was a great experience and we were very happy to have the support and Indian network that ETI International gave us. We now have a group of well appreciated new colleagues!
